Skukuza Golf Club was yet again the scene of an incredible wildlife experience with hyenas killing an impala ram on the 5th fairway in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

As South Africans spent Tuesday under lockdown Level 4, flora and fauna around the country are enjoying a break from gawking onlookers.

None more so the case than at Skukuza Golf Club situated inside the famed Kruger National Park.

The unique 9-hole course is closed to golfers at present, allowing animals to roam the fairways freely.

In recent weeks, images taken by course greenkeeper Jean Rossouw of lions and wild dogs roaming the fairways have been shared on social media, while last week the rare sight of a leopard was captured on camera.

South Africa-born England cricket star, Kevin Pietersen, who is an avid golfer and owns a luxury safari lodge inside the park, also posted pictures on his Twitter account.
