Johannesburg - A freak injury sustained at the airport has ruled Louis Oosthuizen out of this week's Joburg Open at the Randpark Golf Club.
Oosthuizen was considered one of the favourites to win the tournament.
But the 35-year-old will not be playing in the tournament after two of his fingers got caught in an airport trolley and were injured.
As a result, he is unable to grip a golf club.
This will be the final European Tour event of the year and the likes of Dylan Frittelli, George Coetzee, Haydn Porteous, Darren Fichardt and Dean Burmester will be fancying their chances in Oosthuizen's absence.
