Wolves won their first match of the season last weekend, while Manchester City were given a bye due to their extended Champions League campaign. They'll want to get off to a winning start tonight.
Hello and welcome to our coverage of tonight's Premier League clash between Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, live from Molineux.
KICK OFF! We're underway at Wolves.
No penalty! An early penalty shout for City as Sterling is involved in a challenge with Conor Coady. The referee waves play on and the VAR agrees with the decision.
De Bruyne plays a clever ball into the box, picking out the run of Sterling. He twists and turns but is eventually cut out by Moutinho.
Substitution: Marcal has to come off due to injury, his night ends early. Ruben Vinagre is on in his place.
Save! Wolves give away a free-kick just left of centre, about 25 yards out. De Bruyne is taking this all day long - and stings the palms of Rui Patricio with a well-struck but very saveable effort.
Man City have had 80 per cent of possession so far - and though they've not found another clear-cut opportunity since Sterling's early chance, they'll be encouraged so far.
Block! Wolves move the ball in off the right to Podence, whose first-time effort from 25 yards is blocked by Stones.
Neto spots JImenez's run into the right channel with a lovely ball over the top, but Man City get back and flood their own box to cut off the Mexican's options. He looks back towards Podence, but Mendy is all over it and blocks.
PENALTY! A ball inside from the right to De Bruyne finds the Belgian just inside the area, where Saiss' clumsy challenge brings him to ground. No complaints when Andre Marriner points to the spot.
GOAL! De Bruyne converts from the spot. Patricio goes the right way but there's too much accuracy and power behind it.
That goal hasn't done much to affect the pattern of the game. Man City are still popping the ball around nicely - with De Bruyne just overhitting a ball through to Sterling and behind for a goal kick.
Chance! De Bruyne's inswinging corner from the right is headed away confidently by Boly. Corners aren't quite the visitors' strong-point, though.
Chance! Foden brings the ball in off the left and finds Sterling in a pocket of space inside the box. From a tight angle, it's asking a lot of the England winger on his left foot, and he stings Patricio's palms with an effort the goalkeeper holds.
GOAL! One-touch stuff from the visitors cuts them through the Wolves defence like a knife through butter. Foden starts the move, then Jesus, De Bruyne threads a lovely ball into Sterling on the left of the box, and his ball inside is fired in by Foden.
Booking: Mendy goes into the book for a clumsy challenge on Traore.
Foden has Saiss right where he wants him when he receives the ball just inside the box, and is always looking to turn onto his left. The defender gives him a little to much space, but when he turns inside to go for goal, he shanks his effort well wide.
A poor defensive header from Moutinho in midfield is gobbled up by Sterling. He finds Jesus who nods it into the path of De Bruyne, who's clean through from the angle and pulls a good save out of Patricio.
There will be two minutes of extra time at the end of the first half.
SECOND HALF: We're back underway for the second 45.
HALF TIME: Man City go into the break in cruise control. Wolves 0-2 Manchester City.
We've had 46 goals this weekend - one more and we'll match the Premier League all-time record for a round of 10 fixtures.
De Bruyne skips through again with Wolves defenders around him but not able to put him off his stride. He looks towards the far post but a deflection en route could take the ball anywhere. In the end, it falls nicely for Patricio ahead of Jesus.
It's a typically wonderful pass from De Bruyne to find Jesus as City break. Outside of the left foot, and as pinpoint as you like. The Brazilian takes it in his stride and has space with Coady not tight enough, but only finds the gloves of Patricio from just inside the area.
Wolves have the ball on the right with Traore, who is invited to keep going with Mendy backing off. When he reaches the box he looks inside to Podence, who swivels 180 degrees on it before firing just past the near post and into the stancheon behind the goal.
Podence gets away from Walker and with Ederson closing him down, goes for a chip from the edge of the area, but it drops no more than a foot over the bar.
Miss! Again Mendy is sluggish to meet Neto, again he gets beaten down the Wolves right. The Wolves winger puts in a great low ball to find Jimenez, who tries to side-foot it in at the far post from 12 yards and misses it by a yard at most.
Stones is caught with no idea where Podence is from Neto's ball in behind from deep on the right. The Wolves man may be just offside but Stones isn't to know, and is relieved when Ederson gets to the ball first inside the City area.
Man City have regained their composure a little in the last few minutes. It's never over at 2-0, of course, but the longer this goes on without any comeback goal from Wolves, the tougher it's going to be.
No goal! Jesus does the right thing and sticks the ball in the net but the flag does eventually go up for offside against the Brazilian.
Block! Neto drives at the heart of the City defence before getting a shot away from the edge of the penalty area. However, Ake slides in to make a crucial block.
Substitution: Double change for Wolves. Pedro Neto and Joao Moutinho are off. Fabio Silva and Leander Dendoncker are on.
GOAL! An initial corner is cleared but Podence gets a second opportunity, brilliantly nutmegging De Bruyne before fizzing an inviting cross into the penalty area. It picks out Jimenez, who does the rest, powering the ball past Ederson to bring Wolves back into the game.
Podence goes down clutching his face after he's caught by Walker. There will be a VAR check but it's only a quick check. the officials saw nothing in it.
Substitution: City are making a change and it's Sterling who is replaced by Torres. It's a City debut for Torres.
Booking: Rodri is in the book.
There will be four minutes of added time.
GOAL! No mistake this time from Jesus! Game, set and match to Manchester City! De Bruyne wins the ball back for his side and plays in Jesus. The Brazilian gets a shot away and there's a bit of good fortune as it somehow finds its way past Patricio and into the back of the net!
FULL TIME: It's all over at Molineux and Manchester City take all three points.
