Chiefs have the first corner of the match and they keep the attack alive for a few phases but Baroka defend well.
Frosler takes a long throw for Chiefs and Mathoho flicks on well but Mphahlele clears well for Baroka at the back post.
Zulu take a long throw for Chiefs and the ball breaks out to Ngezana who cuts inside and is hacked down by a poor challenge by Kambala.
Frosler takes a long throw for Chiefs and Masuluke makes a brilliant catch in the air. He then launches a long kick for Masiya to lead a counter attack but he just fails to find arriving teammates.
Mphahlele takes a long throw for Baroka and Ngezana has to head behind for Chiefs. Corner to Baroka.
Mgaga delivers the corner for Baroka and Mathoho inadvertently flicks on but Kambala can't keep his header down at the back post when it reaches him.
The game has slowed down a bit now with Chiefs enjoying possession despite Baroka closing down well in midfield.
Baroka work the well around well with Mosele very involved and when the ball finds the feet of Mgaga, he shoots from 30 yards and the effort bounces in front of Akpeyi and draws a fumbled save.
Mgaga takes a corner for Baroka but Mathoho clears well and then his subsequent cross comes into the area, Cardoso clears the danger.
We have had 20 minutes here and Chiefs haven't really created anything as Nurkovic struggles to get into the match.
Chiefs try to counter attack but the imperious Mosele breaks up play for Baroka and then plays a pass over the top for Monama's run but the striker's touch is just a little too heavy and the ball rolls through to Akpeyi in the Amakhosi goal.
CHANCE! Nurkovic leads a counter for Chiefs, his ball towards Ngcobo is cleared to Manyama and he finds Frosler with a dinked pass but the makeshift winger fires wide of goal via a deflection.
Kaizer Chiefs nearly habe a chance as Manyama slips Nurkovic through on goal in-behind Farmer but the striker's shot is saved by Masuluke. The whistle goes belatedly anyway for a small foul by the striker on the defender.
CHANCE! Mgaga delivers a corner and Gebhardt has a free header with Akpeyi punching at thin air but the effort goes just over the bar. That should have been the opener for Baroka.
Baroka have had six shots in the match so far (two on target) to just one off target by Chiefs.
Frosler takes another long throw and once again, Masuluke comes off his line and claims the ball in the air for the visitors. That is excellent goalkeeping.
Chiefs have a good spell of pressure finally with Frosler delivering two crosses. Masuluke punches one clear and the other is cleared by the defence.
Manyama takes a corner for Chiefs but the delivery is not very good and Baroka have no issues defending the set piece.
Frosler cuts inside and drives a left footed shot towards goal and Mosele blocks with his hand. That'll be a freekick in a good position for the home side.
Manyama strikes the freekick but it's straight into the wall. That's a waste for Gavin Hunt's team.
Cardoso floats a diagonal pass into the box and Nurkovic is poised to attack the ball in the air but Masuluke comes flying off his line and punches clear. Once again, that is excellent goalkeeping.
Chiefs have two decent openings as first Nurkovic flicks a perfect headed pass for Mashiane but the youngster passes instead of shoots. Then a pass is sent towards Mashiane in the box but Farmer makes a excellent interception for Baroka.
HALF TIME. The score is still 0-0. Baroka started much better and created one big chance but Chiefs grew well into that half without creating all that much.

Mashiane gets forward but his cutback narrowly misses Nurkovic. Chiefs just haven't quite got firing in attack today... do they have one eye on the Soweto derby this weekend?
GOAL! MASIYA! Masuluke goes long, Makgopa beats Mathoho in the air and flicks on and Masiya bursts onto the ball and slots past Akpeyi. Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Baroka.
Chiefs are now just going direct but Nurkovic is isolated and Baroka keep picking up the second balls.
Manyama whips in a hopeful cross with Nurkovic and Frosler in the box but Masuluke does well to claim the delivery.
Masuluke throws an up-and-under and Chiefs let the ball bounce twice in their own half and Baroka nearly find the pass to double the lead but Ngezana clears well in a panic.
Manyama is booked for fouling Kambala and is the first player to be yellow carded today.
Chiefs make a double change. Castro replaces Mathoho as a striker comes on for a defender and Baccus replaces Mashiane.
Chiefs have reorganised things with Ngezana moving to centre back, Frosler to right back and Castro up front with Nurkovic in a 4-4-2.
Baroka are moving the ball around well and taking some sting out of the game before looking for longer passes against this off colour Chiefs defence.
Chiefs go close now as Castro is found with a cross into the box but Gebhardt was in close proximity to initiate some body contact and put the striker off.
Close again! Ngcobo delivers a lovely cross from the left but Castro tries to finish with his chest and Masuluke is there to make himself a big barrier in the Baroka goal.
Baroka make another change as Mahlonoko comes on to replace Monama. That will see a change to a five man midfield.
OWN GOAL! MOSELE! Chiefs are level after Mosele puts the ball into his own net. Castro flicks on, Frosler beats Farmer with lovely skill and his cross is turned home by Mosele. Kaizer Chiefs 1-1 Baroka.
Close! Frosler finds Castro's run and his low cross is pushed back into a dangerous area by Masuluke but no Chiefs player is there to benefit.
Just wide! Castro picks up the ball after Zuma's cross deflects to him but he curls his shot wide of the post!
Chiefs make a change as Zuma comes into the action for Manyama.
Zuma crosses into the area and Nurkovic heads a shot on target but he was under pressure and there wasn't much pace for him to work with on the delivery. Can Chiefs get a late winner here?
Masiya is yellow carded for kicking the ball away for Baroka.
Zulu delivers a deep cross from the left for Chiefs and it's an excellent delivery but Gebhardt heads clear.
Baroka make another change as defender Shozi replaces winger Masiya. They are settling for a point now.
