G'Day and welcome to for our live coverage of this DSTV Premiership clash between Baroka FC and Kaizer Chiefs.
Off we go with the match underway at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The match has gotten off to a slow start. Baroka's point against Kaizer Chiefs last season denied them the league title. They are one team which has caused plenty of problems for Amakhosi over the years.
Masuluke and Nurkovic collide, but it doesn't appear that either has suffered serious damage.
Nurkovic goes down in the penalty area. Nothing is given, which appears to be a surprise to Gavin Hunt. Replays show Sibiya did, indeed, catch the Serbian striker.
Phiri Jr delivers a free-kick into the area from deep, but the ball is hit too deep for anyone and goes out for a goal-kick.
Ngcobo's ball is an inviting one for Nurkovic. The striker and Masuluke both go for it and collide once again. Masuluke comes out better and Nurkovic was offside.
Masiya crashes into Frosler and picks up a yellow card for a heavy challenge.
Mbulu meets a lovely Phiri Jr free-kick at the far post and should head Baroka in front, but misses the target from close range!
Billiat breaks free on the right and looks to tee up Nurkovic. Masuluke manages to clear, albeit unconventionally!
Baroka continue to pepper Itumeleng Khune's area with crosses. The former Bafana Bafana captain might be a little short of confidence after a difficult few years and Bakgaga will look to exploit that.
Phiri Jr plays a wonderful pass to Masiya, finding him in space on the right. Mathoho clears behind for a corner. Following that, Mosele has a long-range go at goal and misses the target.
Phiri meets a cross from Baroka's right, but heads off target. He is proving a constant thorn in the side of the Kaizer Chiefs defence.
Phiri Jr. has another opportunity to whip the ball into the danger area from deep from a free-kick.
Once again, Phiri Jr. picks out a Baroka player at the far post. Mbulu and Sibiya go for it, but neither can turn it past Khune!
A Khune kick upfield puts Chiefs on the attack. Frosler plays a one-two off Manyama, but Baroka manage to cut out the return ball.
HALF-TIME: BAROKA 0-0 KAIZER CHIEFS. Into the break we go at the end of a half with a good few chances, but most of them going Baroka's way. All still to play for in the second half.
Billiat's free-kick finds Parker at the near post, but he steers his effort off target. It wasn't the easiest delivery to work with.
Into two minutes of stoppage time we go at the end of the first half.
Off we go for the start of the second half.
Baroka are really not letting Chiefs have it all their own way in this match.
Mbulu flashes the ball across the face of goal, but Mathoho manages to get in the way of it.
Baroka continue to make headway on their right flank. However, on this occasion, Khune comes out and comfortably catches the cross as it comes in from there.
Mbulu gets another dangerous ball into the area from Baroka's right, but that's cleared by Cardoso.
GOAL, CHIEFS, MANYAMA! 0-1: Chiefs counter following the corner and the move gets better as it gets further up the pitch. Manyama plays a lovely one-two off Billiat and slots the ball past Masuluke!
Phiri goes for goal off a free-kick and it's well-hit. It curls only just over the target! That wasn't a long way from the top corner.
Kaizer Chiefs have struggled to really stamp their authority on this game, but Baroka haven't take their chances and now need to find a way to penetrate this defence. They've had some success from set pieces, but Chiefs appear to have grown in confidence at the back as the match has progressed.
Manyama makes way after a brilliant performance to be replaced by Kambole. Mashiane is on in place of Ngcobo in the other Kaizer Chiefs change.
Frosler receives medical attention, but seems to be ok. Patjie and Kamatuka are on for Baroka. Masiya and Phiri Jr are off.
Patjie has the chance to deliver from a free-kick, but goes directly for goal, forcing a good save from Khune, who bats the ball away with one hand.
Khune is handed a yellow card, seemingly for time wasting.
GOAL, BAROKA, MAKGOPA! 1-1: Makgopa meets Kamatuka's low cross from Baroka's right and slots the ball past Khune from close range! You can't say Baroka don't deserve this!
Chiefs look for a winner in the dying minutes. Parker spots Mashiane's run on Chiefs' left and looks to slip him in, but he's a moment late, it seems, and the flag goes up for offside.
Billiat is flagged offside as Kaizer Chiefs continue to run out of time.
Into three minutes of stoppage time we go at the end of the match. Kaizer Chiefs will be in the top eight if they find a winner.
Chiefs get the ball into the danger area from the right, but Mathoho has to stick his neck back to get the header away and he misses the target.
FULL-TIME: BAROKA 1-1 KAIZER CHIEFS.Chiefs continue to pile the pressure on as Billiat's effort is blocked for a corner. The ball is not cleared, but the whistle goes for a Baroka free-kick and then for full-time! The spoils are shared.
