Welcome to today's live coverage of Kaizer Chiefs vs Cape Town City in the DSTV Premiership. Kickoff is at 5pm at FNB Stadium.
We are underway as referee Eugene Mdluli blows his whistle.
Nurkovic does great work down the right for Chiefs and gets a low cross into the box but Fielies clears well before being caught by Billiat.
Cape Town City are moving the ball very sharply today. They're looking up for this match.
City threaten as Mashego and Ralani link up down the left and nearly set up Morris for a chance before Nodada slides in for the loose ball and gives away a foul on Khune.
You wouldn't know Chiefs are the home side here. City are dominating possession and looking much more slick. Chiefs are holding so far though.
Penalty shout! Morris goes down in the box for City after receiving a pass from Lakay. The referee gives nothing. Replays show that the contact from Blom was minimal.
Mathoho hits a long ball towards Nurkovic for Chiefs but Mobara comes across well to defend for City.
CHANCE! City should be ahead. The visitors take a short corner, Makola's pass towards Mobara's run is deflected to Morris inside the box but he puts his shot over the crossbar!
City again get into the Chiefs defensive third with combination play. Nodada bursts down the right and his cross is cleared to Ralani who blazes over the bar. Surely it's just a matter of time before Jan Olde Riekerink's side take the lead here.
GOAL! MORRIS! It's been coming and City have a 1-0 lead. Mashego bursts forward down the left and beats Mathoho with his cross which reaches Morris to sidefoot straight under Khune. Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Cape Town City.
Chiefs have a corner but it comes to nothing. It came from good approach play as Parker attacked Billiat's delivery from the left. That's a bit better from Gavin Hunt's team.
Amakhosi have improved since conceding - they had to get better - and Manyama's curling cross is teasing but well defended by Fielies with Nurkovic lurking.
CHANCE! Mashego and Ralani link up again for City and the latter finds Lakay's run. He gets his effort on target but Khune blocks well and then is up quickly to dive onto the loose ball which was squirming towards goal.
Close! Chiefs have a half chance as Frosler floats a cross into the box and Parker challenges for the first ball and then volleys from the loose ball but straight at Leeuwenburgh.
City concede a freekick on the edge of their own area as Fielies uses a high boot to clear from Manyama. This is a great position and opportunity for the hosts...
Manyama takes the freekick but it's straight into the wall. It falls to Ngezana in the box and his acrobatic effort is pushed over the bar by Leeuwenburgh. Another decent half chance for Chiefs as they chase an equaliser.
City are still looking dangerous. Mashego gets forward to win a corner which Mkhize nearly makes something of. Then Nodada has a shot from range but it's weak and straight at Khune.
City are playing some lovely stuff. Chiefs can't really get near them at times. It feels like the visitors have 13 players.
Chiefs have a rare attack after Mkhize gives the ball away. Billiat slips it to Ngcobo on the left but his cross is completely overhit and sails out for a goalkick.
Makola is shown a yellow card after an earlier foul on Parker.
Manyama plays a big diagonal pass looking for the run of Nurkovic but Leeuwenburgh catches well for City. Chiefs' Serbian striker has been starved of service thus far.
HALF TIME. Chiefs 0-1 Cape Town City. A goal by Morris after 22 minutes separates the side after a dominant and impressive display against a toothless Chiefs team. See you in 15 minutes for the second half.
+1' Nurkovic wins a corner as he burst forward and Fielies defends well. Chiefs get two deliveries into the box and Fielies clears both of them.
The fourth official indicates one minute of additional time to be played.
The second half is underway. Chiefs have made a substitution at the interval with Baccus replacing Ngcobo.
Close! Chiefs nearly level as Manyama's corner falls to sub Baccus to strike for goal but Mkhize blocks well for City.
Parker delivers a deep cross from the right for Chiefs but it sails over the heads of Billiat and Nurkovic and goes out for a goalkick.
Mobara takes the corner for City - a strange sight for a centre back - and Nodada has a shot blocked as Chiefs defend the situation well.
City again get forward down the left with Mashego running riot. His low cross nearly reached Morris but Cardoso tracks his man well and clears away for a corner.
Billiat receives a pass on a counter attack -- he cuts inside Mkhize with good skill but overhits his cross and it goes out over on the far side.
GOAL! RALANI! 2-0 to City. Chiefs are a mess once again. Ralani has all the time in the world to strike a shot and it deflects wickedly off Mathoho and wrongfoots Khune. Kaizer Chiefs 0-2 Cape Town City.
CHANCE! Nurkovic should pull a goal back for Chiefs. Leeuwenburgh pushes Manyama's cross straight to Nurkovic and the striker's shot from the penalty spot is goalbound before Fielies clears off the line behind his 'keeper.
Manyama has improved in this second half. He shows great close control to go past Mokeke and win a freekick on the byline for Chiefs. Parker delivers but Leeuwenburgh catches with ease.
Chiefs have had 66% of the ball in the second half so far. Some of that is their improvement but some is just down to the scoreline as City are protecting a good lead.
CHANCE! Nurkovic has another massive opening for Chiefs. Mokeke slips, Billiat crosses deep for Nurkovic seven yards out but the Serbian tries a audacious effort instead of taking the ball down. His shot goes over the bar with just Leeuwenburgh to beat. Chiefs could be level after two big chances since they went 2-0 down.
CHANCE! Now another huge opening for Chiefs. Baccus' pass finds Manyama via a dummy by Billiat and he bursts into the box and has a clear opening which he sticks wide of the post.
Chiefs make a double change as Parker and Manyama are taken off with Zuma and Mashiane introduced.
GOAL! BACCUS! Chiefs finally score! Ngezana gets forward up the right and delivers a perfect cross for the unmarked Baccus to head home. Game on! Kaizer Chiefs 1-2 Cape Town City.
Makola takes a freekick for City but he strikes his effort high over the crossbar.
Cape Town City make a change as Shonga replaces Morris up front.
City make another change as Lakay is taken off with speed merchant Martin introduced to stretch Chiefs.
Leeuwenburgh is twice called into action in City's goal. He first saves a comfortable shot from Zuma and he punches clear from Nurkovic's cross-cum-shot.
Billiat bursts forward for Chiefs and is fouled back by Mobara. It's right on the edge of the area but the referee gives a freekick instead of a penalty. That's just about the correct decision by referee Mdluli.
Billiat steps forward to take the freekick for Chiefs but he curls his effort over the crossbar.
City are now just sitting back and defending as Chiefs try to get diagonals and crosses into their box. The visitors are really looking tired now.
City are making a double change. Cupido replaces Mkhize and Mdantsane comes for Ralani. Mdantsane has nine goals for City this season -- their top goalscorer this term.
Chiefs make another change as Castro replaces Nurkovic. The latter missed two massive opportunities in the second half.
CHANCE! Chiefs again come close as Mashiane's cross from the left finds Ngezana at the back post but he can only sidefoot his shot into the side netting. Gavin Hunt will be pulling his hair out on the bench.
Chiefs are absolutely camped in City's defensive third now with Mashiane getting some teasing deliveries into the area. The visitors are sitting deep in a 5-4-1 shape with just Shonga in attack.
Wide! Blom had an earlier shot saved and he tries another effort from range now which goes miles wide, much to coach Gavin Hunt's frustration.
FULL TIME. Chiefs 1-2 City. It was a game of two halves. City were superb in the opening period but spent almost the entire second half under pressure and gave up numerous clear cut chances which Chiefs contrived to miss. Thanks for joining us for this entertaining DSTV Premiership clash.
+2' Yellow Card. Khune goes long, Chiefs flick on and Billiat is tripped by Mobara. The referee bizarrely decides to book Billiat for simulation instead.
+1' Ngezana delivers a cross and Castro heads wide under pressure from Fielies. It looks like that should be a corner but the referee indicates a goalkick.
The fourth official indicates three minutes of additional time to be played.
