Hello and welcome to live coverage of Burnley vs Arsenal in the English Premier League at Turf Moor. Kickoff is at 3pm UK time.
We are underway at Turf Moor as referee Anthony Taylor blows his whistle.
Arsenal had the ball for the first two minutes before Pepe tried a dribble and lost the ball cheaply to Taylor. A diagonal from Barnes finds Wood for the Clarets but Arteta's team are quick to the second ball.
Tierney gets forward down the left for Arsenal but his cross is well caught by Pope in the Burnley goal.
Close! Odegaard releases Tierney with a lovely chipped ball into the box. The fullback tries to find Pepe but Pope smothers the attempt from the winger from close range.
Wide! Barnes hooks a shot over the bar as he links up with Wood. That was route one stuff but caused Arsenal real problems.
Burnley cause problems again with direct aerial football. A corner is taken short and when the delivery comes in, Tarkowski can only head it wide under pressure.
CHANCE! Lowton crosses from the right for Burnley, Gabriel heads clear but Westwood plays in a lovely pass which Barnes heads wide. He had more time than he realised.
Offside! Barnes makes a run in-behind the Arsenal backline but Taylor was slow to release the ball and the striker goes too early. Barnes lets his teammate know what he thinks about that slow release.
Tierney sets it back for Odegaard to cross into the area but Pope claims with ease. High crosses look an unlikely route to goal for the Gunners today.
Yellow! Barnes is carded for a hand across the face of Tierney.
Arsenal win a corner having had two earlier shots by Partey and Odegaard blocked. Pepe takes on Taylor down the right and wins a corner but his delivery is poor and doesn't beat the first man.
After a long spell of sideways passing at the back, Arsenal work an opportunity in transition after McNeil gives it away. Aubameyang releases Pepe down the left but his cross is too close to Pope.
Yellow! Saka finally makes a real impact on the game and gets at the Burnley defence. Westwood cuts him down and takes the card for the team.
GOAL, ARSENAL! ODEGAARD! The Norwegian midfielder steps up and curls a perfect freekick into the top corner as the wall fails to jump. Fine strike! Burnley 0-1 Arsenal.
After a soft foul on Barnes by Gabriel, the hosts deliver a freekick into the area which Ramsdale tries to push clear but misses. Gudmundsson tries a volley from the loose ball but doesn't get his effort on target.
Foul! Brownhill catches Saka with a late challenge and is somewhat fortunate to avoid a caution.
Arsenal had 64% of the ball before the goal. Since scoring, Burnley have had over 60% possession.
Burnley nearly get a chance to level as ball over the top reaches Barnes but Gabriel makes a crucial clearance. A subsequent pass into the area find Barnes but he shoots weakly from 15 yards at Ramsdale.
Arsenal have gone into their shells a bit and are playing for half-time now. Tomiyasu takes his time over a freekick which frustrates the crowd.
Burnley go long as Wood flicks on but Ramsdale claims in front of Barnes and gets his knee up to protect himself.
HALF TIME. Arsenal 1-0 up through Odegaard's 30th minute freekick. An even match otherwise. Join us in 15 minutes for the second half.
The fourth official indicates two minutes of additional time to be played.
Wide! Odegaard switches play to Pepe who sets up Smith Rowe with a square pass and the academy product fires over the bar.
The second half is underway.
Burnely win a corner and it causes choas. McNeil crosses, Mee heads back for Gudmundsson to have a shot blocked and then Mee's cross is hit straight at Ramsdale by Westwood's acrobatic attempt.
CHANCE! Arsenal should make it 2-0. Saka finds Aubameyang who puts Smith Rowe through on goal. He is facing Pope but shoots tamely at the Burnley goalkeeper.
Foul! Taylor crosses towards Barnes but he is blown up for a foul on Partey, much to the hatchet man's frustration.
Subs for Burnley: Barnes and Gudmundsson depart. On come Vydra and Cornet.
Top save! Westwood and Wood play some sharp stuff and ball falls to Cornet to curl a low attempt but Ramsdale gets down well to make a fine save. So nearly 1-1 and a goal for the record-signing.
Sub for Arsenal: Lokonga replaces Smith Rowe.
Westwood drives a shot which deflects wide. Cornet has given much more pace to Burnley as they chase a goal.
Odegaard finds Aubameyang and he releases Pepe into the Burnley box. He can't divert his shot on goal though as it runs out.
Penalty overturned! The referee gives a spot-kick to Burnley for Ramsdale fouling Vydra after White's poor back pass. The ref checks the monitor and correctly decides no penalty. The 'keeper got some of the ball.

Wide! Wood gets a sighter from Lowton's cross from the right but White was in close proximity to put some pressure on.
Sub for Arsenal: Tavares replaces Tierney, who is injured yet again.
This game is getting more stretched. Arsenal could get an opening in transition to kill this off.
Sub for Burnley: Rodriguez replaces Wood.
Burnley put a corner into the box and Ramsdale gets up really strongly to catch the delivery and completely relieve the pressure.
Arsenal could kill the game as there is huge space for Aubameyang to find Tavarez on the left but he can't get past Tarkowski in a dribble. Good defending to stop the clear chance opening.
Burnley are still pushing and getting plenty of balls into the Arsenal box but Gabriel is holding firm with good support around him. Arteta has his side well drilled today.
FULL TIME. Arsenal defend excellently and take a 1-0 victory thanks to Odegaard's superb freekick. Thanks for joining us today. Burnley 0-1 Arsenal.
+4 WIDE! Cornet curls a cross into the Arsenal box from the right and Rodriguez heads it wide as Gabriel challenged him. The ball was a bit behind the striker so it was far from a good chance.
+3 Tavares bursts forward from his own half but makes a terrible decision to shoot from 30 yards. It goes wide and gives the ball back to Burnley.
+3 Yellow card for Tavares for time wasting.
+2 Taylor get a cross into the box from the left but his ball can only be flicked wide from an awkward angle for Vydra. Arsenal won't mind allowing a header from that distance.

The fourth official indicates four minutes of additional time to be played.
