Chelsea will be top of the table if they win today, while Brentford will be within just one point of the Blues should they pick up all three points.
Anthony Taylor is today's referee. He irked Chelsea supporters by sending Reece James off in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Anfield, but Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has been at pains to point out that there is no place for conspiracy theories against referees.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Premier League West London derby between Brentford and Chelsea at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Off we go for the start of this West London derby. Immediately, Mendy is forced to come out and make a clearance.
Werner has had a couple of sniffs at goal early on, but the Brentford defenders have done well to marshal him and prevent him from shooting.
Chelsea have predictably done most of the attacking in the early minutes of this game.
Onyeka is down and receiving medical attention.
Play has resumed with Onyeka soldiering on for now.
Lukaku looks to blast a free-kick into the top corner, but fires well off target.
Kovacic commits a professional foul on Mbeumo to cut out the Bees' counter-attack, picking up a deserved yellow card.
Toney meets a cross from Jorgensen with his head, but that's deflected behind by a Chelsea body.
POST! A ball from deep is flicked on by Toney and then kept alive, turned towards Mbeumo, who hits the woodwork. On the counter, Werner finds Lukaku, who strokes home, but is offside!
Kovacic's free-kick takes a wicked deflection off the Brentford wall and loops onto the roof of the net. It nearly crept into the top corner.
Onyeka is barged over by Loftus-Cheek. No foul, says Anthony Taylor. Brentford disagree. Onyeka returns the favour on Loftus-Cheek with a rather cynical-looking challenge. Chelsea get the free-kick and Canos gets a yellow card, presumably for dissent.
This time, Loftus-Cheek is on the end of a hefty challenge that is not blown up. Brentford look to capitalise and Mbeumo has a go at goal, but the angle is awkward and it's straight down Mendy's throat.
Chilwell is on the end of a long ball and flicks on to Lukaku, who lays off for Werner. The Germany international fires off target.
Lukaku and Werner are linking up nicely for Chelsea. All that's needed is the shot at the end of the move.
Chelsea fans are going through songs from years gone by. Cesc Fabregas and Roberto Di Matteo have received tributes -- Rafa Benitez not so much. A nice throwback to a bygone era.
HALF-TIME: BRENTFORD 0-1 CHELSEA. Brentford have had chances and even hit the post through Mbeumo, but Chelsea have been the better side and deservedly lead at the break thanks to Chilwell's goal on the stroke of half-time.
GOAL, CHELSEA, CHILWELL! 0-1: Azpilicueta's cross finds Lukaku. He can't get a shot away under pressure, but Chilwell is there on the follow-up to rifle home! The Blues lead as we head into two minutes of stoppage time! This has been coming in the last few minutes.
Brentford get the second half up and running at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Kovacic goes for goal from long range, but misses the target from some distance.
Lukaku looks to pick Werner out in the middle, but the ball is cleared before it can reach the former RB Leipzig striker.
Chalobah and Sarr continue to make life extremely difficult for Mbeumo and Toney. The young centre-backs have filled the boots of the greats who have held these roles in the Chelsea backline before them.
Chelsea appear to be attempting to run down the clock, with Mendy getting his laces tied by Azpilicueta. The Brentford fans are not too happy, but perhaps they can take it as a compliment!
Kante so nearly slips Werner in behind, but Jorgensen intervenes at the crucial moment to send the ball comfortably back to Raya.
Chilwell looks to pick out Lukaku in the box, but the delivery is slightly overhit.
Mount comes on for Chelsea in place of Kovacic.
Forss comes on for Brentford in place of Onyeka. Thomas Frank is clearly unafraid to chase a result against European champions Chelsea.
Werner's effort deflects into the path of Lukaku, who fires over from close range! The flag is up for offside anyway.
Ghoddos is on for Brentford in place of Canos.
SAVE! A Brentford long throw is flicked on to Toney, who strikes the ball sweetly. Mendy flies to make the save at the near post!
POST! Brentford are piling pressure on Chelsea now. The Blues would bite your hand off for a 1-0 win at this stage. Mbeumo is slipped in and hits the post again!
Havertz is on for Chelsea in place of Lukaku, who has not had his finest evening.
Chelsea have gained some measure of control again, but this game is far from over.
SAVE! Ghoddos meets a cross at the far post, but Mendy spots the danger and makes a fine save. The follow-up shot from Brentford is cleared off the line by Chalobah.
SAVE! Another brilliant block from Mendy preserves Chelsea's lead -- this time, off a close-range Jansson shot!
James is on for Chelsea in place of Azpilicueta for the last few minutes.
A minimum of four minutes of stoppage time have been added on.
SAVE! Pinnock chests the ball and goes for the bicycle kick. His shot at goal is brilliant, but Mendy's save is equally spectacular! His performance deserves a clean sheet!
FULL-TIME: BRENTFORD 0-1 CHELSEA. Chilwell's goal proved decisive, but Mendy's performance was what really sealed the win for Chelsea today. Brentford deserved something, but the Blues ensured nothing could get past them.
