Pirates are not far ahead of their hosts as they occupy seventh position on the table. Their recent form has not been what they would have hoped and will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Amazulu find themselves in the middle of the table in ninth place. The home side have only won one in their last five games however, if they can pick up all three points today, they could climb the table to sixth.

KICK OFF: We are underway!
The away side have seen more of the ball in these opening stages but are yet to create any big chances.
Peprah receives the ball in behind but the flag is up for offside.
Pirates are moving the ball around nicely as the Amazulu defense shifts from side to side. They are still to test Mothwa.
De Jong does well as he drives into the Pirates box beating two defenders before squaring the ball for Malepe, who couldn't get a meaningful connection on his effort.

Amazulu are proving to be dangerous on the counter attack but the Pirates defense have been up for the task thus far.
Makaringe goes on a brilliant, surging run from the middle of the park, but Gumede makes a brilliant tackle to deny him a goal scoring opportunity. There was no room for error there as he was the last man and if he was a second later he would have been sent off. Terrific tackle!
Memela receives the ball in behind the Pirates defense but Mako recovers and snuffs out the danger. There is a break in play as Mothwa is hurt and requires treatment.
Mamela and Ndah collide and the free kick goes the way of the away side. Pirates go long but fail to maintain possession. Amazulu have grown into the game nicely.
GOAL! Pirates lead! What a fantastic goal that is. Pirates move the ball around brilliantly in midfield, and Amazulu couldn't get anyway near it. The ball is then clipped in for Hotto, who is in on goal. He drills the ball hard and low, and into the back of the net! Amazulu 0-1 Pirates.

Memela shoots from distance but drags his effort wide.
Amazulu have played well and will feel hard done by to be trailing. However it was the sheer quality of the Pirates players that calved through the home defense. Amazulu are looking to get back into the game before the break.
Buchanan crosses from a free kick and Mpontshane does well to come out and punch clear. There is now a break in play as Mabaso is injured.
De Jong shoots from distance but his first time effort doesn't trouble the keeper.

Close! Makaringe fizzes in a terrific cross but it just evades everyone and flashes across the face of the goal.
HALF TIME: The referee brings the first half to a close. Pirates gained the lead through Deon Hotto, before Moremi equalized at the other end. All to play for in the second half. Half time score - Amazulu 1-1 Orlando Pirates.
Peprah looks for Makgaka in the box but the pass is intercepted.
Close! Mako does well do drive down the byline before cutting the ball back. The ball is then worked to Makaringe, who's side footed effort goes just wide.
Save! Peprah receives the ball in the box and shoots powerful at goal. Mothwa does well to make the save.
Some nice interplay from the home side allows De Jong to receive the ball in space. He is in a great position to get a cross in but makes a poor connection and the ball is out for a goal kick.
Close! What a second half this has been as both teams exchange blows. The ball is cut back for De Jong who shoots from the edge of the box, but Mako does well to get back and make a vital block.
Memela shoots from distance but can't keep his effort under the bar.

There is a long break in play as Nyauza receives treatment.
YELLOW: Sikhakhane is booked for the challenge on Nyauza. Fortunately the Pirates captain is able to continue and play resumes.

Save! Hotto strikes with his left foot and Mothwa does well to make the save with his feet. A flurry of Pirates attempts follow but the home defense does well to clear the danger.
Chance! Hotto is slipped in behind the Amazulu defense and he looked for Peprah who was in a great position to score, but Malepe did brilliantly well to cut out the pass.
As things stand, Pirates and Amazulu will occupy seventh and eighth place in the table respectively.
