No conversion from Pienaar, so the score remains 5-0 to the Cheetahs at Toyota Stadium.
The Cheetahs look to hit Province on the break again, but Blommetjies is tackled into touch this time.
Penalty for Province. Swiel goes for posts, but can't get the kick on target.
Province look to break through a dogged Cheetahs defence, but a pass goes astray and the Cheetahs survive the spell of pressure.
Western Province have had 71% of the territory so far, but haven't been able to breach the Cheetahs, which is testament to the home side's efforts on defence.
Petersen spots space in behind near the corner and kicks into space for Leyds to chase. Blommetjies gets across to just force him too far wide. Leyds allows himself a wry smile.
Excellent work from the Cheetahs under pressure yet again as they win a scrum penalty, with Venter the guilty party for not supporting his body weight.
The Cheetahs hold firm in defence once again as WP look to maul their way over, but the hosts just manage to hold firm and hold the ball up.
Province have another opportunity from the kicking tee. This one is in front of the posts and just behind the 10m line. Tim Swiel steps up and misses once again.
It's the Cheetahs who are on the attack now. Blommetjies looks to break through the defence, but can't quite. He gets the offload away to van Wyk, who is tackled. That's six phases and counting.

Province get the ball and look to run their way out of trouble, but they are penalised right under the posts for holding on.
PENALTY, CHEETAHS, PIENAAR! 8-0: Pienaar pops the penalty over to give the Cheetahs some breathing space.
Leyds dives to keep the ball in play off a Cheetahs kick for the corner, with Jasper bearing down on the ball. If Jasper gets to the loose ball before Leyds can regather his tip into play, then it's likely a try, but Leyds gets there first and Swiel clears.
Off we go for the start of the second half. Blommetjies looks to go on another marauding run, but is eventually stopped in his tracks.
HALF-TIME: CHEETAHS 11-0 WESTERN PROVINCE. It's been a clinical performance so far from the hosts, who were under pressure throughout the first half, but did not crack and took their chances.

Tempers are flaring with Chris Smit and Evan Roos getting into a minor scuffle.
A lineout maul takes Province to the verge of the try-line and Venter goes over. We go upstairs to see if he lost control of the ball. It turns out he did! Province are denied and the score remains 28-14.
Mngomezulu comes on in place of Swiel to make his debut.
