One has to feel for the bloke, i'm not really a Steyn fan, eventhough he did some great things with the boks early on in his career. But having your career spiral out of control in this fashion due to a missed penalty touch finder seems harsh. I am sure this club has other reasons, as they have a young pivot, and there is no need to waste money and time on Steyn, but whatever the club's reasons, that missed touch finder is haunting Steyn, and his career at 30 is coming to an end. In all honesty it would be a bit sad if it had to end this way for a guy how did a lot for the Boks and may never get a chance to finish his career on a high. Unless of coarse HM select him for the world cup, which IMO is a no go. That will send a wrong message to young Pollard & Lambie. Anyway wishing him well nonetheless.
