Daily sports briefs | Brothers Trevor and Mark Immelman are doing well as golf commentators, mouthwatering FA Cup encounters and a similar treat on the UFC front.

HEARING DOUBLE?

South African golf fans could be forgiven for thinking that they were hearing double during CBS Sports golf coverage of the Travelers Championship over the weekend. That is because South African brothers Trevor and Mark Immelman were commentating on the event after CBS signed them both to their broadcasting team. Trevor is a former Masters champion while older brother Mark is a golf podcaster, sportscaster, author and Director of Golf at Columbus State University.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: With their slightly neutralised South African accents, having lived in the US for a long time, they both are outstanding commentators and add value and insightful analysis at every turn. They are both witty, extremely observant and knowledgeable. Expect to hear from them for years to come.

FA CUP DRAW CREATES MOUTHWATERING PERMUTATIONS

With the so called "big guns" easing into the semi-finals of the FA Cup over the weekend, many were anxiously waiting for the draw on Sunday night. Those looking for a story will note that we still have the possibility of an all Manchester derby or an all London derby as Man City were drawn against Arsenal and Man United v Chelsea.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: The games will be played behind closed doors at Wembley on the weekend of 18-19 July. We see the likelihood of a red v blue Manchester derby as the most likely match-up.

UFC ON ESPN 12 DELIVERS A FOTY BLOODBATH

Those of you who tuned in to watch the lightweight clash between Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker on Sunday morning, would have been treated to one of the fights of the year. A truly epic fight that sent both fighters to hospital, delivered everything over five rounds ... skill, bravery, endurance, cardio and an insatiable will to win.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: Poirier is very much back in the title conversation with his unanimous win but Hooker can be proud of his performance and also showed that he belongs near the top of this stacked division. Next up we have Justin Gaethje v Khabib Nurmagomedov but Poirier v Tony Ferguson or Conor McGregor would also be a blockbuster fight.
