On Thursday night in the quiet suburb of Little Falls in Roodepoort, the Schoenmakers - father Rene, mother Renske, and sister Fabienne - will be in bed earlier than usual.

Friday is a big day. 

When most of South Africa is still fast asleep, 24-year-old Tatjana Schoenmaker will take on the world, one more time, on the grandest stage of them all.
