Aphelele Fassi entered dreamland last week when his name was in the 46 that made the Springbok squad for the British and Irish Lions series in July.

The Sharks fullback's inclusion into South African rugby's most coveted list this winter crowned his four-year-long ascent to national recognition, which he'd have likely reached a year ago had it not been for a global pandemic.
