Lood de Jager, partner to Eben Etzebeth in the incumbent first-choice lock department, got through 40 largely successful comeback minutes in the second half of Sale Sharks' visit to Harlequins in the English Premiership on Saturday.

SA player-laden Sale slipped to fifth on the table while London-based Quins shifted into third after winning the key meeting 24-12.
