There is little that is subtle about them … it was like that in their Durban days and, if anything, that phenomenon has only deepened on the books of Sale Sharks in England.

But rugby will always have scope for an abrasive, direct "route one" approach – especially in tight, tense clashes on heavier surfaces – and twin brothers Jean-Luc and Dan du Preez more than tick that box.
