Springbok centre Lukhanyo Am returns to lead the Sharks in Saturday's Currie Cup clash against the Bulls in Durban.
Am, who was sidelined for a few weeks with a hand injury, takes back the captain's armband from Jeremy Ward for this top-of-the-table clash.
In other changes, Bok winger S'bu Nkosi gets a welcome start to add his own brand of firepower to the exciting backline.
Up front, Daniel Jooste takes over from Kerron van Vuuren at hooker in a rotational switch, while Henco Venter and Sikhumbuzo Notshe are both back in the loose trio.
Sharks coach Sean Everitt has also added a forward-dominated bench, with a six-two split in expectation of the physicality the Bulls bring to the game.
The battle up front will be intense, with tighthead prop Thomas du Toit noting: "As always with the Bulls, we feel that we really need to up our game because you have to give them credit for the great rugby they’ve been playing, and it shows.
'We know we need to deliver our best performance if we want to beat these guys, that's going to be vital. It's an absolutely massive game for us this weekend, one we’re very excited about."
Saturday's clash at Kings Park is scheduled for 19:00.
