When many of his Bulls players and co-workers sprung into jubilation after their Currie Cup final victory, assistant coach Joey Mongalo took a moment to be by Sharks flyhalf Curwin Bosch's side when the final whistle blew.

Even though they were on opposite ends of the contest, and their teams being fierce adversaries, Mongalo took a step back to share words of comfort with Bosch, who missed five penalties in the 26-19 defeat at Loftus.

Bosch was close to finishing the year with a near-90% kicking ratio since the start of last year's truncated Super Rugby campaign.
