Musikanth to Catrakilis: Meet Mzansi-bound Israeli rugby team with familiar SA names

Jamba Ulengo, Wiehahn Herbst, and Jordan Chait are names you would expect to find dotted around any of the five South African franchises.

But these South African-born rugby players featured - at least until December 2022 - for Israeli rugby club Tel Aviv Heat, which is poised to enter SA Rugby's new competition called the Mzansi Challenge that begins on 24 March this year.

SA Rugby announced the domestic fixtures for the year, including the Currie Cup Premier and First Division, Women's Premier and First Division, as well as Under-21 and Under-20 competitions.
