Mounting mettle: that's what still baby-faced Curwin Bosch boasts in this unusual 2020/21 domestic rugby season.

The young flyhalf from Port Elizabeth put in a confident, rounded personal display as the Sharks clawed from behind to pip the log-topping Bulls 32-29 in a Currie Cup nail-biter at Kings Park on Saturday.

Up against a vastly more experienced, still influential opposite number in the form of Morne Steyn, who also did much right, Bosch made a strong statement of future Springbok aspirations - he has two prior caps - by just edging the duel.
