The Chiefs have made several changes to their starting line-up. Sam Prattley gets his first start of the season and Brodie Retallick comes back to his lock position after and extended injury break. Lachlan Boshier starts on the blindside flank after being on the bench last week. Marty McKenzie starts at fly-half replacing his younger brother Damian. Anton Lienert-Brown also starts at outside centre in place of Sean Wainui.
The last time these teams met the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs 25-13 in Wellington earlier this year.
This Kiwi derby kicks-off the final Super Rugby Round before the knock-out stages next week and both these teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals.

TRY, CHIEFS, ALAIMALO! 19-0: Again the Hurricanes attack before it is kicked away by Beauden Barrett. The Chiefs then kick it forward and the bounce favours Anton Lienert-Brown, who finds Shaun Stevenson. The final chest-pass from Stevenson to Solomon Alaimalo is good enough and he runs home to score!

Jordie Barrett is caught in possession five metres out. He does well to get it away and Perenara clears for another line-out on the 10 metre line.

HALF-TIME: CHIEFS 21-0 HURRICANES. It has been all Chiefs in the first 40 minutes. They have applied all the pressure and deserve to be ahead at the break.
