Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Super Rugby clash between the Sharks and the Stormers as the two sides do battle for top spot in the South African conference at Kings Park in Durban.
YELLOW CARD, STORMERS, DU TOIT! TMO Willie Vos was nudging referee AJ Jacobs in the direction of a red card. Jacobs agrees that there was a high level of danger, but says Schreuder landing on his back was a mitigating factor. He's stretchered off, while du Toit goes to the sin-bin for 10 minutes.
KICK-OFF! Jean-Luc du Plessis gets the game underway. Straightaway, we have a disciplinary issue. Johan du Toit has put in a dangerous-looking tackle on Louis Schreuder. AJ Jacobs goes upstairs.
Kerron van Vuuren darts away down the left for the Sharks and looks to send replacement scrumhalf Nohamba through for the try, but the youngster knocks on from the inside pass! The Stormers are let off the hook again.
The Sharks win a turnover inside their own territory and kick the ball forwards, countering at pace again. Willemse spills the ball and is then taken into touch.
The Sharks are piling the pressure on in the opening minutes, but the Stormers steal from a lineout. While the hosts are controlling the flow of the game, they need to make their dominance count. They do not want a repeat of last year's surprise defeat to the Stormers in Durban.
The Stormers win another turnover under pressure. Jantjies boots the ball clear and the Sharks look to attack again. However, the ball is lost forward near halfway.
Johan du Toit comes back onto the field for the Stormers. The crowd understandably does not sound particularly welcoming towards him.
A knock-on from the Sharks hands a Stormers a scrum right outside the hosts' 22. This is a great opportunity for John Dobson's men.
The Sharks have survived that spell of pressure, but they need to assert their own dominance again as quickly as possible. Kitshoff is penalised now for not releasing the ball in a kickable position and the Sharks are going for posts.
From around 40 metres out, Bosch pushes his kick wide of the posts. The game remains scoreless. The Stormers' luck has been in so far.
Du Plessis is receiving medical attention on the field. A big tackle from Esterhuizen appears to have hurt him.
We're midway through the first half of what has been a scrappy contest. Nohamba has the put-in to a scrum in a promising position for the Sharks.
Bosch puts ball to boot, searching for Mapimpi out wide. He and Leyds go for it, but neither can get a grip on the ball. It's another scrum, with the Sharks in possession.
Bosch boots the ball into space, but Senatla does well to race back and make the mark. The Stormers' rock solid defence is serving them well once again.
TRY, SHARKS, FASSI! 5-0: At last, the Stormers are punished for a mistake. Bosch sends Fassi through. The fullback bursts through Roberts'' tackle and goes all the way for the try!

The Stormers look to counter, but they put a foot in touch. Now, the Sharks take the lineout quickly and seek to catch the Stormers napping. Am's pass to Esterhuizen is poor and the Stormers have a scrum.
The Sharks get the second half underway. They probably feel they should be more than just three points ahead based on their first half dominance. Sean Everitt's side will look to extend their lead as quickly as possible.

The Stormers lose the ball just inside Sharks territory. The hosts look to attack again. Bosch kicks towards the corner, where Nel makes the mark. He is adjudged to be in play as he catches it, but that's tight.

The Sharks work the ball out to Notshe, but he fails to keep it in play against his old side.
The Stormers hold on through another wave of Sharks pressure. Eventually, the hosts are penalised for not releasing the ball.

A knock-on from Burden off du Toit's pass enables the Stormers to go on the front foot again with this scrum.
TRY, SHARKS, MAPIMPI! 24-14: The Sharks get possession, and then following a scrum, Mapimpi goes half the length of the field on his own to score! That's it — game, set, match.
FULL-TIME: SHARKS 24-14 STORMERS: Bosch fails to land the final conversion, but the Sharks have nevertheless claimed a well-deserved win. The Stormers made them work for it, but Sean Everitt's men pulled away at the end.
