The curse of being the Springboks - and world champions to boot - is that whenever a Test is lost, the hoary old question about style and "Plan B" creeps up... again.

It comes with the territory when you're renowned for basing much of your assault on any title on admittedly envious power and mobility, on a game-plan that's perceived to be so pragmatic and unambitious that it's actually almost exciting.
