Load shedding occurred during the Springboks press conference with captain Siya Kolisi and assistant coach Mzwandile Stick on Friday at Kings Park in Durban.

The Springboks take on Argentina in their Rugby Championship Test on Saturday at 17:05.

South Africa are in the midst of a national electricity crisis as Eskom implemented stage 5 and 6 load shedding over the weekend amid a series of unplanned breakdown.

During Kolisi's pre-match press conference, the lights flickered off with the Springbok captain chirping, 'Welcome' to Argentinean journalists.

The All Blacks and the Springboks are equal on points the Rugby Championship table (14), but New Zealand (+41) has a better points difference as compared to South Africa (+28).
