South African born lock, Ryno Pieterse has been sent off in a Top 14 clash in France for a horror late tackle while playing for Castre against Bordeaux.

In a match that ended 23-all, Pieterse, who was on as a substitute, received his marching orders in the 64th minute for an extremely late hit on a Bordeaux's Maxime Lucu.

Pieterse, who previously played for the Bulls, was shown a straight red card.
