British media is astounding at creating narratives and, if they are to be believed, the Springboks are at fault for relegating the British & Irish Lions series into an insipid, joyless affair devoid of entertainment.

They've conned the world into painting the Boks as brainless beasts who know no better than to run through brick walls and err on the side of illegality at the first available opportunity.
