To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of rugby's premature death are greatly exaggerated.

Someone please call the coroner; tell them there's life in this game yet.

This is obviously a riposte to former England head coach Clive Woodward's claim that rugby "will be dead in five years" if played the way the Springboks play the game.
