Springbok enforcer Eben Etzebeth says the players and management are excited for the challenge of trying to defend the Rugby World Cup in France later this year.

The Springboks, who beat England 32-12 in the 2019 World Cup final in Yokohama, will look to lift the Webb Ellis Cup for the fourth time in their history.

The 2022 season was an inconsistent one for the Boks - they won eight and lost five Tests for a 62% win-ratio.
