Pay-channel SuperSport will air the documentary as part of a Freedom Day rugby special next Monday, 27 April.

SA Rugby announced on Thursday that the players, along with new coach Jacques Nienaber, will lend fresh perspective to the victory that "continues to endure and inspire".

Nienaber was the team's defence guru at last year's World Cup in Japan, but has now taken over the head coaching responsibilities as Rassie Erasmus takes a back seat to focus on his director of rugby role at SA Rugby.

The programme will start at 15:30 on SuperSport 1.

"The Freedom Day RWC special on SuperSport will give the viewers an incredible opportunity to relive those memorable moments in Springbok history. It is something not to be missed. Those three RWC final wins will demonstrate so powerfully what we as South Africans can achieve when we are stronger together," Nienaber commented.

The Springboks beat England 32-12 in the World Cup final in Yokohama last November. In 2007, the Boks beat England 15-6 in the final in Paris; and in 1995 the All Blacks were edged 15-12 in Johannesburg.

SuperSport added that the block of World Cup programming will begin at 06:30 on Monday morning, with a show celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Springboks' maiden win in 1995.

This will be book-ended by the broadcast of Invictus, the Clint Eastwood film starring American actors Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon, which detailed events before and during the 1995 World Cup.

Broadcast details (all on SS1):
