They won the Rugby World Cup together and painted a timeless picture of success as Springbok captain and head coach that will endure the test of time. 

But at the start of Rassie Erasmus' tenure as Springbok coach in 2018, the mentor gave Siya Kolisi no favours and, some would say, cut him down to size.

This was revealed in Kolisi's memoir - Rise - which was released this week.
