Springbok assistant coach Mzwandile Stick could not hide his admiration for the way Scotland played under head coach Gregor Townsend ahead of their end-of-year tour clash at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Stick was a menacing fullback during his playing days who starred at flyhalf for the Blitzboks, so he would know an attractive brand of rugby when he sees one.

He lavished praise on his counterparts, saying they were a team he would enjoy watching were he sitting on his couch at home instead of the furnace inside the coaches' dugout in Edinburgh.
