Stormers coach John Dobson appeared almost apologetic after his side sneaked a 42-37 win over the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday.

The men from Cape Town looked dead and buried when they trailed 37-14 heading into the final quarter, before four converted tries saw them snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Dobson, while addressing reporters after the game at Mbombela Stadium, admitted his charges were lucky to win.
