Cape Town - Tennis one week, cricket the next, followed by a fishing excursion off the coast of Fiji.
According to the Stuff website, that's the current life of All Blacks superstar Beauden Barrett while his new Blues team-mates are busy with pre-season Super Rugby training in preparation for their tournament opener against the Chiefs.
Barrett, 28, who signed with the Auckland-based franchise last year, is on an extended break following last year's Rugby World Cup in Japan.
Barrett isn't expected to feature for his new team until April.
Much like his Crusaders skipper brother Scott, Beauden is a keen fisherman and posted the photo below on his Instagram account on Thursday, with his catch, a yellowfin tuna.
Barrett reeled the fish in near Fiji, a week after playing in the 'Black Clash' cricket match where he represented Team Rugby in their narrow defeat to Team Cricket.
Barrett and his wife Hannah, who celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary earlier this month, were also spotted courtside at the recent ASB Classic in Auckland.
Barrett's break has also included a holiday to Thailand and Singapore.
Barrett has played 83 Tests for the All Blacks, scoring 649 points in the process. He also represented the Hurricanes 125 times in Super Rugby, amassing 1 238 points.
The Blues and Chiefs will meet on Friday, January 31 at Eden Park in Auckland.
Kick-off is at 08:05.
