Bordeaux-bound former Bulls wing Madosh Tambwe believes the "Jake White effect" is real and has pointed to the former World Cup-winning Springbok coach as an influence in his wondrous United Rugby Championship (URC) season.

In a candid interview with Sport24 before departing for the French Top 14 club, Tambwe, who grounded eight URC tries and top-scored for clean breaks this season, explained his reason for leaving, first the Sharks to the Bulls and then the Bulls for Bordeaux.
