Henco van Wyk will make a return to the outside centre berth for the Lions ahead of their United Rugby Championship (URC) clash with the Stormers at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Van Wyk, who has come on in leaps and bounds since Wandisile Simelane's departure to the Bulls, is one of two backline changes as wing Sibahle 'Rabz' Maxwane comes in for Stean Pienaar.

Former Paul Roos Gimnasium forward Jarod Cairns will fill in at flank where he'll don the number six jersey while Morne van den Berg and Manuel Rass return to the match day 23, albeit on the bench.

The team will be led by inside centre Marius Louw, who deputises for the injured lock and regular captain Reinhard Nothnagel

The Lions are still looking for their first South African derby win in the URC since they beat the Stormers in Cape Town last year.

That defeat remains the only time the Stormers' colours were lowered on their way to the title last season.

The Lions also go into the game on the back of last week's 37-10 defeat against the Sharks at Kings Park, while the Stormers saw off the Bulls 37-27.

Kick-off is at 19:00
