Joey Mongalo isn't content sitting in the front row of almost daily coaching masterclasses from former World Cup-winning coach Jake White, soaking in the wealth of knowledge he built over decades of winning on different continents.

The Bulls defence coach decided to further his studies and graduated with a master's degree in organisational psychology from the University of Pretoria this year to add to his World Rugby Level 3 coaching certificate.

Mongalo was a marketer in his previous incarnation, so he got a BCom marketing degree straight out of high school. Now he sits next to the Bulls director of rugby as one of the most qualified coaches on the rugby circuit.
