European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), the custodians of the Champions and Challenge Cups, is hoping to address the contentious water breaks issue by, essentially, limiting them to when a try has been scored.

Also, referees on duty in the two prestigious competitions have been implored to keep to a very strict window for calling those intervals.
