Less water breaks, sympathy for knockdowns: The laws refs will focus on in European Cups

European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), the custodians of the Champions and Challenge Cups, is hoping to address the contentious water breaks issue by, essentially, limiting them to when a try has been scored.

Also, referees on duty in the two prestigious competitions have been implored to keep to a very strict window for calling those intervals.
