Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth was the toast of the Sharks' social media accounts on Monday after he attended practice in Durban and spent time with Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.

Earlier this year, the franchise announced Etzebeth's signing that will see him remain in Durban until 2027.

“Attracting a player of Etzebeth’s calibre underlines the importance The Sharks place on building a winning squad, which is aligned to the vision of being the biggest franchise in world rugby,” said Sharks CEO Ed Coetzee at the time.
