MATCH REPORT: Injury-time Sangare strike foils Foster’s delight as Bafana blow it to draw with Liberia
The strike was so surreal it seemed like something out of this orbit – like an alien object shooting like a cannon into the goal.
That’s how Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and captain Ronwen Williams must have felt as Mohammed Sangare’s 91st long-range rocket earned Liberia a 2-2 draw in a crucial Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier at Orlando Stadium on Friday night.

24 March 20:16
That draw should surely taste like a defeat for Hugo Broos and his Bafana charges.
However, all is not lost.
The men's senior national team could still qualify for the tournament in Ivory Coast.
A win in Monrovia on Tuesday (18:00) will keep Broos's charges in the race for qualification.
It could go down to the last match against Morocco in June as both Liberia and SA still have to face the Atlas Lions.
Meanwhile, Bafana depart for Liberia over the weekend.

FULL-TIME: Bafana Bafana 2-2 Liberia
Bafana Bafana let slip a two-goal cushion as Liberia came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Orlando Stadium in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Lyle Foster nailed in an early spot-kick after Percy Tau was brought down in the penalty box before the Burnley striker completed his brace with an excellent headed effort to give South Africa a 2-0 lead after just 20 minutes.
But Liberia made swift changes in the second half to crawl back into the clash as super-substitutes Tonia Tisdell and Mohammed Sangare scored to ensure the West Africans leave with a valuable point.
Liberia welcomes South Africa to Monrovia on Tuesday and whoever wins secures their tickets to the Afcon tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
