Starved of live soccer since March 2020 due to Covid-19, fans descended on FNB Stadium to support Bafana Bafana against Ethiopia.

As part of a pilot project run by government and the South African Football Association, 2000 fans were allowed to enter the stadium provided they were vaccinated.
