The South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed Le Coq Sportif as Bafana Bafana's new kit sponsor on Monday.

The French activewear replaces long-time technical sponsor Nike after SAFA's deal with the American sportswear brand ended in 2019.

"We are delighted to have entered into a long-term partnership with SAFA as the new technical sponsor for the national teams," said Roger Noades, Sales Director at Le Coq Sportif.

"We have made no exception with regards to the quality and standard of the new kit as we take pride in the men and women who represent the country on the field."

SAFA and Le Coq unveiled three new-looking strips - a home, away and an alternative kit - ahead of Bafana Bafana's international friendly match against Namibia (Thursday, 8 October) and Zambia (Sunday, 11 October).

Both matches will be played in Rustenburg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Thursday's match against Namibia starts at 19:00.
