A comprehensive wrap of all the collated fixtures, scores and match reports from the UEFA Champions League:

TUESDAY, 28 SEPTEMBER

Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 Inter Milan

Ajax 2-0 Besiktas

Real Madrid 1-2 Sheriff - MATCH REPORT

Sheriff Tiraspol pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Champions League history on Tuesday by beating Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Sebastien Thill scoring a stunning 89th-minute winner.

Madrid fell behind to Jasurbek Yakhshiboev's header in the first half but Karim Benzema's penalty appeared to have spared the blushes of the Spanish giants, only for Thill to snatch an incredible victory.

AC Milan 1-2 Atletico Madrid

Dortmund 1-0 Sporting

PSG 2-0 Man City - MATCH REPORT

Lionel Messi scored his first goal in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt as they beat visiting Manchester City 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.

After Idrissa Gueye put the hosts ahead in the eighth minute, PSG withstood ferocious City pressure before Messi sealed the victory, firing high into the net from a Kylian Mbappe lay-off to score in his fourth appearance for the club since signing from Barcelona last month.

Porto 1-5 Liverpool - MATCH REPORT

Liverpool paid a fitting tribute to Roger Hunt as Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino scored twice in a 5-1 demolition of Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Jurgen Klopp's side wore black armbands after former Liverpool striker Hunt died earlier in the day aged 83.

Hunt was part of England's 1966 World Cup-winning side and is Liverpool's record league goal-scorer with 244 goals.

"Roger Hunt comes second to no-one in his importance in the history of Liverpool FC, that much is clear," Klopp said.

RB Leipzig 1-2 Club Brugge

WEDNESDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER

Juventus 1-0 Chelsea - MATCH REPORT

Federico Chiesa proved to be a big game player once again with the only goal in Juventus' 1-0 Champions League win over Chelsea which could kick-start their faltering season.

Sat 10th in Serie A after a succession of unconvincing performances domestically, Juve top Group H with a perfect six points thanks to a superbly taken winner seconds after half-time from Chiesa, one of Italy's stars at Euro 2020.

Benfica 3-0 Barcelona - MATCH REPORT

Barcelona suffered more European humiliation on Wednesday after a 3-0 defeat by Benfica left them in serious danger of failing to make it out of their Champions League group.

A hammering in Lisbon, which saw Darwin Nunez score twice, including a second-half penalty, also delivered another heavy blow to Ronald Koeman's hopes of staying on as Barca coach.

Man United 2-1 Villarreal - MATCH REPORT

Cristiano Ronaldo marked his record-breaking 178th Champions League appearance with a 95th-minute winner as Manchester United snatched a 2-1 victory over Villarreal at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner had barely threatened until he fired past Geronimo Rulli at the back post to ease the mounting pressure on United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with virtually the last kick of the game.

Atalanta 1-0 Young Boys

Zenit 4-0 Malmo

Wolfsburg 1-1 Sevilla

Bayern 5-0 Dynamo Kyiv

RB Salzburg 2-1 Lille
