OPINION | A bit premature, but riveting Premier League has NO clear favourites

My clear-cut favourite for the Premier League title at the start of the campaign was current champions Liverpool.

However, after matchday five over the weekend, I have no clue who will be in the first position at the end of May next year when the season concludes.

After their heavy defeat against Aston Villa, a fortnight ago, many assumed, including myself, that Jurgen Klopp’s charges would bring current log leaders Everton back down to earth over the weekend.
