Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau scored his first goal for English Premiership side Brighton in a pre-season friendly against Luton on Saturday.

Tau scored the third goal in Brighton's 3-1 win over Luton at Kenilworth Road.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns star forward was denied a chance to feature for South Africa at the Tokyo Olympics after Brighton refused to release him for SA Under-23 duty.

The 27-year-old was rumoured to be up for a shock move from Brighton to Belgian club Royal Antwerp.
