Naples - Manolo Gabbiadini will leave Serie A title chasers Napoli this month after his agent confirmed the striker will leave for Germany or England.

The 25-year-old was widely tipped as the future of the Italy's strike force, but a lack of first-team football in Naples has stalled his development and he's searching for a new challenge.

West Ham and Tottenham have been strongly linked with Gabbiadini in the past and following the arrival of Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax and Leonardo Pavoletti from Genoa last week, the Italian is clearly not in the plans of manager Maurizio Sarri.

Southampton, Stoke and Wolfsburg have reportedly joined his list of suitors, with a transfer fee in the region of €20 million being set by the Partenopei.

"All will be arranged for Gabbiadini by next week at the latest," agent Silvio Pagliari told Onda Libera. "This decision has now been taken in agreement with Napoli.

"He will be going to one of those two leagues (Bundesliga or Premier League), and could do well in both."

Gabbiadini has scored 38 goals and registered 13 assists in 158 Serie A games.
