Kick off in just over 20 minutes time.
Arsenal will want to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after surrendering a 2-0 lead at Watford last weekend. Villa will sit deep and attempt to catch their hosts on the counter - one suspects there may be plenty opportunity to do so.

Hello and welcome to the English Premier League clash between Arsenal and Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
KICK OFF! 0-0. We are underway at the Emirates.
Maitland-Niles is in plenty of space as a cross comes towards him but he hits it miles over the bar.
McGinn with an early shot but it isn't placed well. Leno saves comfortably.
Very open start to the game. Villa have not come here to just sit back.
Villa with the first corner of the match.
McGinn with another strike from the edge of the area. This time it has power but still close to Leno who punches it clear.
Villa win a free kick in a dangerous area. Just outside the box on the angle but El Ghazi's shot is straight at Leno.
Other than that very early chance for Maitland-Niles it has been Villa causing the most problems.
Pepe finds space down the right and cuts in. Mings does exceptionally well to block the shot. Corner for Arsenal.
GOAL! ASTON VILLA! MCGINN! 0-1. Villa get the lead they deserve and Arsenal's centre backs are missing in action. No one picked up McGinn's run and he stuck it past Leno with ease.
Pepe cutting in from the right again but he can't find a shot to cause Heaton any trouble.
Arsenal's biggest threat is coming down their right with Pepe and Maitland-Niles. El Ghazi is not helping Taylor out defensively so there is an opportunity to the hosts.
Sako has a shot from distance but it is narrowly over the crossbar. He had Heaton scrambling there.
Arsenal have a bit more control of the game now with Villa moving deeper. Can they hold this lead until the break?
Villa counter but it all ends with a weak effort from Wesley.
UPDATE: 0-1. Villa lead away from home through a well worked McGinn goal. There have been chances at both ends but that remains the only goal.
Mings has a free headers but misses the target. Doesn't matter, the flag was up for offside.
RED CARD! Maitland-Niles has been sent off for a second yellow card. Arsenal players surround Jon Moss but there is nothing doing, definite second yellow.
HALF TIME! 0-1. Villa lead at the Emirates through McGinn's goal and will come out in the second half and play 10 men after Maitland-Niles was sent off.
We have three minutes to be added on.
Sokratis embarrassingly tries to get Wesley sent off. Fortunately it didn't work.
KICK OFF! 0-1. Villa get the second half underway and will hope they can keep this scoreline going.
SUB for Arsenal - Chambers is on for Saka. Pepe has moved to play centrally.
Referee Jon Moss is getting plenty of boos from the stands but their team isn't exactly producing much in terms of quality.
Mings somehow finds himself up the left wing on the counter attack and puts in a good cross which Sokratis cuts out just in time.
Arsenal look void of any ideas in the final third while Villa have had a number of counter attacks. One still feels that a second goal will probably be required.
PENALTY for Arsenal. Guendozi is brought down by Engels. Definite penalty.
GOAL! ARSENAL! PEPE! 1-1. Pepe beats Heaton from the spot. That is Pepe's first goal for the Gunners.
CLOSE! McGinn almost immediately gets Villa ahead again but his attempt is just wide.
GOAL! ASTON VILLA! WESLEY! 1-2. Arsenal's defence is bordering on a joke. Grealish squares with his left foot and Wesley finishes with the outside of his left boot.
Villa should score again but Trezeguet shoots straight at Leno.
Luiz forces Heaton to tip over from a free kick. Good strike and it needed saving.
Arsenal are getting closer! Guendozi lets fly from just outside the box and it smashes into the post. It bounces off the post into the diving Heaton but rolls narrowly wide of the post.
SUB for Villa - El Mohammedy is on for Trezeguet.
Aubameyang misses a chance. There is a flick from the corner and at the far post Aubameyang cannot get it on target.
Arsenal are camped in the Villa box and the visitors just can't get out.
Another corner for Arsenal. Xhaka is off for Torreira.
GOAL! ARSENAL! CHAMBERS! 2-2. Villa don't clear their lines and Mings basically plays Chambers in who touches it past Heaton.
Villa are a man up so why they are sitting so deep is ridiculous. Another chance for Arsenal now with a free kick just outside the box.
GOAL! ARSENAL! AUBAMEYANG! 3-2. Arsenal take the lead with 10 men! Aubameyeng hit the free kick and Heaton didn't even move. Villa will be kicking themselves but its all their own doing.
Villa now pushing forward to look for an equaliser.
FULL TIME! 3-2. Arsenal win with 10 men. Villa put in a superb performance until they went 2-1 up and then just sat back. In truth Villa should have been 2 or 3 ahead by the time Arsenal equalised. Great 3 points for the Gunners albeit slightly fortunate.
Villa push forward but McGinn falls over his own feet in the box and handles the ball.
We will have 5 extra minutes.
Massive penalty appeal for Villa but VAR confirms it isn't.
