Hello and welcome to our coverage of tonight's Premier League derby clash between Manchester United and Manchester City, live from the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford.
KICK OFF: We're underway at Old Trafford!
Close! A terrible cross-field pass by Zinchenko almost inadvertently plays in Martial. The United striker was inches away from cutting the ball out - had he done so, he would have been clean through on goal.
A cagey opening few minutes. A good tackle from Fred brings a half-break from City to a juddering halt.
City win the first corner of the game as Williams slices a clearance. The corner is only half cleared and a lovely, dangerous cross is defended well by Williams at the far post at the expense of another corner. Which comes to nothing.
Shaw is mugged on the half-way line by Sergio Aguero, the ball is fed into Raheem Sterling and his low shot is palmed away by David de Gea. It's a comfortable save for a keeper of De Gea's calibre but relief for Shaw.
Another mistake by a United defender - on this occasion a weak header by Harry Maguire - is seized upon by the lively Aguero before a fine tackle by Matic clears the danger.
Chance! City's possession play falters in midfield, and quick as a flash, Fernandes plays in James. He goes for goal and hits it straight at Ederson.
City are dominating possession but James' chance is the best created so far in the game.
Martial brings down Williams' floated pass over the top of the City defence with a lovely touch and opts for an instant shot. But give Otamendi some credit, he's there to block the shot and United are rebuffed.
Free-kick for United. Fernandes hits the free-kick into the City wall. Sighs all round Old Trafford.
Chance! Mistake from Fernandinho, getting into a muddle down the right-hand channel, and Martial streaks into the City area. He has support, but he also has a sight of goal. Ederson gobbles up the effort on goal.
GOAL! MARTIAL! United are ahead! The Frenchman latches onto Fernandes' clever free-kick with a neat volley but the biggest part of the goal is the mistake by Ederson in the City goal. He really, really should have saved it.
Booking: Fernandinho and Rodri were both booked for their protestations over the free-kick awarded to United in the lead up to their goal.
United look a changed side since going ahead - they're now the one dominating possession which they absolutely weren't before.
It's brilliant from Wan-Bissaka. He sends the City defence a dummy and he waltzes into the box to win his side a corner. Fernandes takes but it comes to nothing.
Five minutes to go until the break.
Booking: Fred goes down in the area after a challenge from Otamendi. Mike Dean blows his whistle but instead of giving a penalty, the Fred is booked for simulation. A poor decision from Mike Dean. If anything, that was a penalty.
There will be two minutes of added time.
KICK OFF: We're back underway at Old Trafford. United are 45 minutes away from winning the Manchester Derby at home in the Premier League for the first time since 2015.
It has gone to VAR and the decision stands. No goal. Correct call by the linesman - just.
NO GOAL! City have the ball in the back of the net but Aguero has been flagged offside!
HALF TIME: United lead at the break thanks to a cleverly worked goal created by Bruno and finished by Martial. United could've had a penalty but Mike Dean and VAR decided otherwise.
Close! Ederson allows a back-pass to squirm under his studs and, almost on the goalline, Ederson wins a 50-50 tackle with Martial to keep the scoreline at 1-0.
The second half has started with City playing on the break and United having more of the ball than the visitors.
Save! Foden's dipping shot from the edge of the box is tipped over by De Gea.
Booking: Cancelo clatters into Williams on the touchline and goes into Mike Dean's book.
Substitution: Guardiola makes his first change, and its a double replacement, with Jesus and Mahrez replacing Aguero and Silva.
Mahrez is crowded out on the edge of the United box and James breaks away. The City defence can't get close to him and his cross is just too high for Martial
City have had eight corners. They've not produced from any of them. The latest is no exception.
Mahrez twists, turns and tricks Williams...but his cross across the United goalmouth flashes away and the danger passes.
Save! James demands a save from Ederson, but he should've squared it for Fernandes! The United winger had used his speed really well to create the opportunity but the shooting was such a poor choice in that circumstance.
A brief break in play: Luke Shaw is down injured and receiving treatment. Looks as if he'll be able to continue, though.
Miss! Mahrez breaks down the right-wing, crosses dangerously but Sterling can't connect properly with the goal at his mercy!
Substitution: Double change for the home side. Eric Bailly is on for Brandon Williams. Scott McTominay is on for Anthony Martial.
Substitution: Simultaneously, City make a change of their own. Benjamin Mendy is on for ZInchenko at left-back.
City have had 86% of the ball in the last ten minutes.
With all the possession they've had, City don't look particularly threatening. United are defending well and will be confident of keeping that up.
There will be five minutes of added-on time.
GOOOOOOOAL! Scott McTominay scores a worldie from range! Ederson attempted to clear the ball our quickly but his distribution was all wrong and fell for McTominay who expertly lobs it in first time. Another goalkeeping error but what a finish! Game over!
FULL TIME: United hold on for a well-earned Manchester Derby victory and their hopes of European football next season have been given a major boost. It finishes Man United 2-0 Man City.
