This may well be the best chance Chiefs have had in years to beat a struggling Pirates side.
Chiefs are yet to bet Pirates in regulation time in any of their last 13 games.
Chiefs are at the top of the log while Pirates are in seventh position.
We expect another tough game between these traditional rivals and this time 12 points separate the two teams before the start after only 10 games into the league season.

GOAL, KAIZER CHIEFS, NYAUZA (OG) (1-0) OH DEAR! The keeper could have done better there. Sandilands are out of position as a lofted ball beats him. He can just watch it roll into the back of the net off Nyauza.
Pirates almost hit back straightaway and they earn three corners in a row, but they are all cleared.
That was the most terrible start for Pirates, but they are trying to pick themselves up.
YELLOW! The Chiefs captain Katsande is booked for a dangerous challenge on Makaringe. He will now miss the next Chiefs game due to suspension. We also have a lengthy stoppage in play.
Pirates send the subsequent set-piece into the penalty area, but Chiefs clear the ball easily.
Thankfully for Pirates Makaringe returns to the field of play after a few minutes. Billiat has a good opportunity, but he sends it over the Pirates goal.
Billiat looms again, but luckily for Pirates Nyauza clears it for a Chiefs corner, which is eventually cleared. That Pirates defence look a bit shaky.
Pirates now secure a corner and Lorch sends it into the area, but it misses all the Pirates players.
A cross into the Pirates area finds the head of Nurkovic, but Sandilands pushes it away for a corner.
GOAL, KAIZER CHIEFS, CASTRO! (2-0) Chiefs have another corner and there is a delay in the taking of the set-piece. When it eventually comes in the Pirates defence are in sixes and sevens and Castro heads it home for another derby goal! Easy peasy!
At the half an hour mark Chiefs have a healthy two goal advantage.
At this stage Chiefs have only enjoyed 45% of the possession, yet they made the most of their opportunities ensuring that 2-0 lead.
Castro is down for Chiefs and we have another stoppage in play. He leaves the field with what appears to be a groin injury.
GOAL, ORLANDO PIRATES, PULE! (2-1) What a snorter! Pirates secure a disputable free-kick on the edge of the Chiefs box. Pule curls it into the top of the far post and pulls one back for Pirates. Brilliant!

HALF-TIME: KAIZER CHIEFS 2-1 ORLANDO PIRATES. An exciting first half comes to an end. Chiefs dominated most of the half, but Pirates have done well to pull one back with that brilliant Pule set-piece.

SUBSTITUTION: Chiefs were forced into a substitution at the break. The injured Castro has been replaced by Dumisani Zuma.
Pirates will feel that they still have every chance of coming away with something here after that early set-back.
Pirates secure another corner after a defensive error by Chiefs.
POST! The corner is cleared but Pirates come again only to be denied by the post after the keeper was well beaten.

POST! Wow! Once again the post denies Pirates after a well timed run from Pule into the Chiefs penalty area. He takes his time and shoots, but hits the bar!
GOAL, ORLANDO PIRATES, MHANGO (2-2). Third time lucky! Mhango receives a ball from Mako down the left on the edge of the area. He turns and fires it home past the keeper in the far corner. Wow! That's two stunning Pirates goals!
We have not seen quality goals like that in the PSL for a while now. What a game we have and suddenly it's Pirates in the ascendancy.
SUBSTITUTION: Chiefs make another change and Ntiya-Ntiya comes on for Maluleka.
SAVE! Chiefs secure a set-piece in a promising position after a hand-ball. Billiat, who has been quiet thus far takes the free-kick, but Sandilands does well to make two telling saves.
SUBSTITUTION: Pirates now bring on Justin Shonga who replaces Maliele Pule.

Pirates come again and secure another corner, but they then concede a free-kick.
Lorch runs into space and is just too hasty, as he sends it way over the cross-bar. He should have taken his time there.
Chiefs now have a free-kick on the edge of the Pirates area. Eventually it is cleared by the Pirates defence.
We enter the final 10 minutes of regulation time and it's end to end stuff from both teams now.
PENALTY TO CHIEFS! Parker is fouled inside the Pirates area and that is the right call!
GOAL, KAIZER CHIEFS, CARDOSO! (3-2). Daniel Cardoso converts the penalty and Chiefs are back in the lead.
SUBSTITUTION: Pirates now make another change and this time Augustine Mulenga replaces Xola Mlambo.
YELLOW and RED! We have an altercation between some players and in the end Pirates secure a set-piece in a promising position. Mathoho is however sent off for his role in the incident, while Nurkovic, Nyauza and Mabaso receives yellow cards.
