Good evening and welcome to our coverage of tonight's Champions League Group B opener between Olympiakos and Tottenham Hotspur, live from the Karaiskakis Stadium.
KICK OFF: The atmosphere is electric with the "ultras" behind the goal setting the tone. The hosts have the first kick.
Tottenham get their foot on the ball for the first time this evening - a chorus of boos follows their every pass. Hostile stuff.
Chance! Valbuena pulls out to the wide right and gets behind Davies. He looks sharp and accelerates into space. From the corner of the area he tries a low effort past his compatriot Lloris but it's straight down his throat.
Chance! Ndombele loses the ball and Podence decides to run straight at Vertonghen, who backs off until the edge of the box. Podence takes the strike on but it deflects off the Belgian defender and straight to Lloris. The hosts will take confidence from th
Book: Guilherme breaks up a Spurs counter with a thundering tackle. Clear yellow.
Spurs almost work the counter with Eriksen. He charges down the middle and has Kane on his outside but overhits what looked an easy pass.
POST! Big let-off for Spurs. Super play down the left sees a cross which gets chested into the path of Podence who takes on the volley from a tight angle. It cannons back off the upright. So close.
No way through for Spurs as Ndombele tries to get his team going. His pass forward is broken up.
Very easy again for the hosts down the right. Elabdellaoui has lots of space to fire a cross-shot into the middle. Lloris gathers.
PENALTY! Meriah dangles a leg as Kane dribbled past him. Good spot from the referee. Chance for Spurs to go ahead now against the run of play.
GOAL! Kane makes no mistake from the spot. Straight down the middle! Spurs take the lead. Olympiakos 0-1 Spurs.
GOAL! Out of nowhere, Spurs are 2-0 up! It's Lucas who pounces on the loose ball, drives to the edge of the area and whips and unstoppable effort into the left-hand corner.
Chance! Another chance goes begging for the hosts!
Tsimikas' ball from the left floats over the Spurs defence and falls perfectly for Meriah eight yards out, but his volley into the turf skips up and over the bar. He has to be hitting the target there
Better from Spurs. Kane drives down the left channel and drills a low ball into the area which takes a deflection before being palmed away by Sa in the Olympiakos goal.
Dele Alli looks to end his 14-game goal drought by cutting in off the left flank and taking aim from 20 yards. He sends a fizzing effort towards goal that has Jose Sa worried for a moment before it sails over the bar.
GOAL! Olympiakos don't deserve to be two goals down and they're not now as their two most-creative players combine, with Valbuena releasing Daniel Podence in down the right channel and he picks out the bottom left-hand corner with a clinical finish.
HALF TIME: We have a game on our hands as we break the interval. Spurs were cruising after Harry Kane's penalty and Lucas Moura's stunning strike but that late Podence goal has completely changed the complexion of this game. Olympiakos 1-2 Spurs.
SECOND HALF: With both teams as they were before the break, Spurs get the second half underway!
DISSALLOWED GOAL! Eriksen find space on the right and whips a cracker of a ball into the mixer. Alli comes charging in and thumps it home. He wheels away but the linesman's flag is up - Alli waves a finger at him. However, replays show he was a yard off.
PENALTY TO OLYMPIAKOS! Vertonghen gets too tight to Valbuena who doesn't need an extra invitation to go down...
The referee is straight on the scene. He points to the spot.
GOAL! Valbuena equalises. No problem for the experienced Frenchman. Spurs have thrown away a two-goal lead! Olympiakos are deservedly on level terms.
Chance! Spurs respond. Davies charges away down the left and wins a corner. It's cleared out to NDombele on the edge who moves it to his left peg. He strikes one with power but it's straight at Sa.
Substitution: Ndombele is replaced by Sissoko. Spurs need his energy.
Save! Spurs work the opening. Dele bundles his way through the heart of the Olympiakos back four. The angle is tight but he's good enough from here. Sa gets down to make an awkward looking save but it does the job.
Chance! From the corner, Kane shows strength to hold off Semedo but flicks a header over from no more than 10 yards out.
Substitution: Valbuena is replaced by the defensive-minded Benzia. The Greeks look happy with a point here.
Substitution: Son replaces Dele, whose been busy without being spectacular.
Chance! Podence again out-sprints Davies down the line and makes something out of nothing. His cut back for Benzia is a good one but the midfielder, who has only just come on, hoofs one well over the bar from 18 yards.
Substitution: Lamela replaces Moura. That's Spurs' last change.
Waste! This sums up Spurs' night - Sissoko tries to play a 15-yard pass out to Sanchez but curls it straight out of play. Sloppy.
More pedestrian approach play from slow Spurs. This time Sanchez has space but hoofs in a poor cross that is easily cleared.
Steady play again from Spurs. This time Eriksen gets into a good position down the right and clips one into the middle. Kane jumps with Semedo but his header deflects away.
Chance! Big opportunity. Lamela shows a neat change of pace down the left and gets through. He has Kane screaming for the ball across goal but he goes greedy and looks for the near post. Sa tips it away.
Booking: Winks jumps in with two feet without much force but you can't challenge like that.
There will be five minutes of added time.
FULL TIME! It's happened again. Spurs threw away a two-goal lead in the north London derby on September 1. Less than three weeks on, they’re at it again. It seems old habits die hard. Olympiakos 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur.
