Benni McCarthy was left frustrated after AmaZulu conceded late on in their DStv Premiership clash to draw 1-1 with SuperSport United on Wednesday.
Siphelele Mthembu scored for Usuthu on 33 minutes but Bradley Grober ensured a share of the spoils when he converted a 77th minute spot kick.
The result left McCarthy's side in 10th place on the league standings with 12 points from 12 games, and SuperSport up in third place with 24 points.
Since taking over from Ayanda Dlamini, McCarthy has engineered one win, three draws and two defeats.
Speaking after this tie, the AmaZulu boss told SuperSport: "It is becoming now like the same old story. You play well, you dominate games, you create clear-cut chances and players just take for granted that you don't need to score goals to win games.
"You can't play the way we play and dominate every game since I became AmaZulu coach, and yet we have nothing to show for it. It gets a bit frustrating.
"My patience is running a bit out now; I feel that the players need to ask more of themselves. It is too easy...when you drop points away like this and no-one wants to take accountability for it. Your job becomes difficult."
AmaZulu next play Baroka on the road on Saturday.
